Description
Acrylic sheet is a great choice for basic transparent safety and security panels. Stronger than regular glass, it is highly impact resistant and It has a natural resistance to discoloration from intense sunlight. This makes it a great choice for exterior applications. It can be broken, but does not shatter and splinter like glass.
If you require even more security, we recommend the use of polycarbonate panels. Polycarbonate has impact resistance is second to none. Rocks, bricks and bats simply bounce off of it. We stock up to 1/2″ thick sheets to meet the most demanding applications. We also have U.V. resistant polycarbonate. Lustercraft can cut your acrylic or polycarbonate glazing to size for you.
